Every device comes with a SIM card in place, which is specially intended for the device and thus allows SizzApp™ to sustain a policy of no monthly fees.
SizzApp™ uses the 4G LTE-M network with fallback to 2G network where the 4G is not available.
The LTE-M network is a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology that is designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. It offers long range, low power consumption, and low cost, making it ideal for a variety of IoT applications, such as asset tracking.
Yes. All SADC countries use the 4G LTE-M network. As of 2023, LTE-M has been rolled out in all 16 member states of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). However, 2G LTM is not available in all SADC countries. In fact, only one SADC country, Botswana, has 2G LTM available as of December 2023.

SizzApp™ Max is designed to be compatible with any motorised vehicle as long as it has a battery.
However, we recommend checking the product specifications, voltage and dimensions to make sure it will fit your vehicle. Note that the device will not work with 6V batteries.
The SizzApp™ Max GPS tracker provides accurate real-time location updates, typically within a few meters. However, it also depends on how and where you have mounted the device as we recommend you install it face-side up and close to the vehicle’s battery (under the seat, if installing on a motorcycle).

Yes, the SizzApp™ GPS tracker is designed to be waterproof, with IP67 rating – ensuring durability and reliable performance in various weather conditions.
Yes, the SizzApp™ device has an internal battery with 170 mA capacity, which will last 3 hours in active mode and up to 24 hours in deep sleep mode once the device is disconnected.
We recommend you check the battery levels on the app at least once a week as it does depend on the type of battery your vehicle has. We also recommend you turn on the notification feature for low battery indication.
Energy consumption in idle (Deep Sleep) mode is 150-250 mA per day at 12V.
SOFTWARE Q&A
Yes. You can access your SizzApp™ account from multiple devices simultaneously, such as your smartphone and tablet as long as you log in with the same account. You can also use differing methods of authorization for different device brands and you can manage those methods within the application.
While the app requires an internet connection for real-time tracking, the SizzApp™ MAX GPS tracker continues to store data internally when offline. Once it regains a cellular connection, it syncs the stored data with the app.
The SizzApp™ MAX device generates a new position record on each of the following events, whichever occurs first:
- Angle change for more than 10 degree, or
- Distance change for more than 500 meters, or
- Speed value change for more than 50 km/h.

Yes, the SizzApp™ tracker app offers a battery-saving mode that optimizes power consumption while providing essential tracking and notification features. SizzApp™ calls it “Deep Sleep Mode”, which turns on automatically when the vehicle has been inactive for at least an hour.

SizzApp™ provides useful data, such as mileage and average speed, which can aid in vehicle maintenance and servicing. It also shows the vehicle’s battery levels and will send notifications if the battery level is low. Additionally you can set custom notifications for maintenance check-ups, etc.

INSTALLATION Q&A
Yes. While SizzApp™ is primarily designed for motorcycles, many users have successfully used it to track other vehicles or assets that are equipped with a 12V battery.
The installation process is straightforward. SizzApp™ provides detailed instructions with the device. Simply use the sticky pad to attach the device. For motorcycles, the device should preferably be installed under the seat with the front casing faced upward and the +/- wiring connected to the appropriate battery terminals.
